About these terms

These terms are the agreement between you and WDLDV ("we"), for the use of Little Us: the website, the baby photo generator and the free tools. Please read them together with our privacy policy and our refund and withdrawal policy.

You accept these terms when you create an account or buy credits. You can save or print them at any time from this page.

Who can use Little Us

• You must be 18 or older.
• Little Us is meant for personal use by consumers.
• One account per person. Each account is linked to one email address.

What Little Us does

You upload one photo of yourself and one of the other person, then choose boy, girl or twins, an age (a baby of around 9 months, a child of around 6 years or a teenager of around 15) and a single photo or a family portrait. An AI model makes a picture of a possible child from the two photos. From an unlocked photo you can also make a 5-second video without sound.

• Entertainment, not a prediction. Results are made for fun. They are not a genetic prediction and say nothing reliable about what a real child of yours would look like.
• AI can get it wrong. Results vary from one try to the next, and we cannot promise any particular resemblance, look or quality.
• Timing. A photo usually takes 5 to 20 seconds, a video one to a few minutes. These are typical times, not promises.
• Formats. Photos are JPEG files, videos are MP4 files. Little Us works in recent versions of common browsers, on phones and computers.
• Fair use. There is a daily limit on the number of results per account, to keep the service fair and safe.
• Free tools. The pregnancy and baby tools give general information and estimates. They are not medical advice and do not replace a doctor or midwife.

Your account

You sign in with a 6-digit code or a link that we email to you (each works once and expires after 15 minutes), or with your Google account. There is no password. Keep access to your email account safe: anyone who can read your email can sign in to your Little Us account.

Photos: what you promise us

Before every generation, you confirm that both people agreed. By uploading photos, you promise that:

• both people in the photos are 18 or older;
• the other person agreed to have their photo used for this, and you will stop and delete the results if they change their mind;
• you have the right to use both photos;
• each photo shows one person only;
• the photos do not show children, public figures or celebrities, or anyone who did not agree;
• the photos contain no nudity, sexual content or violence.

What you may not do

• Use Little Us or its results for anything unlawful, sexual, harassing, defamatory or discriminatory.
• Use results to deceive people, for example by presenting one as a real child, a real photo, proof of a pregnancy or of parentage, or by using it for a scam or to impersonate someone.
• Remove or hide the "AI-generated" mark or the metadata that identifies a result as made by AI.
• Get around our checks, limits or the free preview rule, for example with extra email addresses, bots or automated access.
• Copy, scrape, overload or try to break into the service, or resell credits or access to it.

How we check content and handle reports

• Automatic checks. Every uploaded photo is checked automatically for the number and size of faces, for people who look under 18 and for unsafe content. Our generation provider also applies its own safety filters. We may refuse a photo or a generation that fails these checks.
• Reporting. Every result has a "Report this image" button. For anything else, including a photo of you that was used without your consent, use our contact form. You do not need an account to report.
• What we may do. We may delete content, refuse uploads, and suspend or close accounts in serious or repeated cases, such as photos of minors, photos used without consent, or fraud. A person makes these decisions. We tell you what we did and why, unless the law prevents it or it would put someone at risk, and you can reply to contest the decision.
• Authorities. Where the law requires it, we report illegal content to the competent authorities.

Rights in photos and results

• Your photos stay yours. You only give us permission to use them to run the checks and make your results, for the time described in the privacy policy.
• Your results. We claim no ownership of your results. You may use them for personal, non-commercial purposes, such as keeping them or sharing them with family and friends, as long as the AI-generated mark stays visible. Commercial use is not allowed. AI-generated images may not be protected by copyright, and similar images may be made for other people.
• Our site. The texts, design, logo and tools on this site belong to us or to our licensors.

Credits and prices

Your first verified email address gets one free blurred preview. After that, you buy credits in one-time packs. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.

• A baby photo or a family portrait costs 1 credit. Unlocking your blurred free preview also costs 1 credit. A free preview is made in standard quality, so an unlocked free family portrait has a lower resolution than one made with a credit.
• A 5-second video costs 4 credits.
• Credits are valid for 24 months from the purchase. The oldest credits are used first. Credits not used within 24 months expire.
• If a photo or video fails, its credits (or your free preview) go back to your account automatically.
• Credits cannot be exchanged for money, except as set out in the refund and withdrawal policy, and cannot be transferred to another account.
• We may change prices for future purchases. Credits you already bought keep their value.

How a purchase works

1. You choose a pack.
2. You tick a box to ask for your credits right away and to confirm that you lose your 14-day right of withdrawal once they are delivered.
3. You pay on Stripe's secure payment page, by card, Bancontact, iDEAL, Apple Pay or Google Pay (the methods shown depend on your country and device). Before you pay, you see the total price and can go back to change or cancel your order.
4. The contract is concluded when Stripe confirms your payment. Your credits are then added to your account and we send you a confirmation by email. With some payment methods, the confirmation can take a little longer.

You can complete a purchase in English, French, Dutch, Spanish or Italian. We do not file a separate copy of these terms for each purchase; the version in force is always on this page, and the details of your order are in your confirmation email.

Right of withdrawal

Because you ask for immediate delivery and confirm that you lose your withdrawal right, you cannot withdraw from a purchase once the credits are in your account. The refund and withdrawal policy explains the details, when credits come back automatically and how money refunds work.

Legal guarantee

As a consumer, you have a legal guarantee that the digital content and services you buy work as described. If something does not work, write to us. We will fix it, return your credits or refund you, as the law provides. Your legal rights are never limited by these terms.

Availability and changes to the service

We work to keep Little Us available, but there may be interruptions for maintenance or because of problems at our providers. We may change or replace the AI models and features we use, as long as what you paid for keeps its main characteristics. If we close Little Us for good, we will tell you at least 30 days before and refund the credits you paid for and have not used.

Liability

We are liable for damage caused by our own fault in providing Little Us. We are not liable for:

• how you or others use results after they are downloaded or shared;
• damage caused by you breaking these terms or the law;
• results that do not resemble a real person or meet your expectations, since they are entertainment;
• short interruptions or problems caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it, such as for intent, gross negligence, or death or personal injury, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Ending the agreement

• You can stop at any time by deleting your account on your account page. Unused credits are lost when you delete your account.
• We may suspend or close your account if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, after warning you where this is possible. If we close your account without you having broken these terms, we refund the credits you paid for and have not used.

Changes to these terms

We may change these terms for a valid reason, for example a new feature or a change in the law. We tell you about important changes by email at least 30 days before they apply. If you do not agree, you can delete your account before then. Credits you bought before the change keep the price you paid and their validity.

Complaints, mediation and applicable law

• Complaints. Use our contact form. We answer within 5 working days.
• Mediation. If we cannot solve it together, you can contact the Belgian Consumer Mediation Service (Consumentenombudsdienst / Service de Médiation pour le Consommateur) at consumentenombudsdienst.be.
• Law. Belgian law applies to these terms. If you are a consumer living in another country, you keep the protection of the mandatory rules of the country where you live.
• Courts. As a consumer, you can bring a claim before the courts of the place where you live, and we can only bring a claim against you there.
